Image title	BEST QUALITY AVAILBLE GRABS FROM VIDEO This is the moment three endangered turtles that were rescued after being stranded on the British coast were carefully released back into the wild - in the Canary Islands. Loggerhead turtles Nemo, Flash and Saor were all discovered close to death after veering off course into chilly waters during their navigation of the Gulf Stream. Nemo, a 20kg female turtle, was found drifting helplessly off the south west coast of Wales in August last year. She was floating head down, covered in algae and missing a front flipper when two men in a boat spotted her and hauled her to safety. Flash, a small loggerhead male, was spotted washed up on a beach by a family near Bridgend, Wales, in July 2008. Saor, a juvenile loggerhead was washed up on the shore in Ireland in March 2008. All three were cared for at aquariums until they were fit enough to be micro-chipped and transported 1,800 miles to the warm waters of Gran Canaria for release.
